    Again not very arty or difficult like many I have seen but the Pyrography machine did get used and took some time to do all of the dots, the Japanese writing was a quick job and took a fraction of the time I was going for a totally black finish but with the burnt dots giving the pot texture...

    First attempt

    The great grandson was here today and asked if he could have a go at pyrography so I found something which I thought he could do and got the pattern onto a piece of ply. After a few lines dots and other scribbles to get the feel of the pen this is what he produced for his Mum. He is only 8 but...
