    Sirocco dressed in Driftwood

Sometimes, something really nice "turns" up when you work with driftwood. The colour on this one is really rich - a gift for my sister's chap. He's an engineer by trade and works for one of the big names in F!. He thinks it's brilliant - works for me!! Not sure I'll get my head through the door...

    Lost the plot

What a week, and it ain't over yet! Ruined a beautiful cross-cut Yew blank and two driftwood blanks I'd stabilised and dyed :sob: Need to be more careful, methinks :thinks:

A brace of Premium Zetas in stabilised driftwood

Shakespeare in stabilised and dyed driftwood

So the less than colourful dyed driftwood blank was draped over my first Shakespeare. Love the kit, and pretty pleased with the match to the blank, a happy accident . A small hole appeared as I turned the barrel, which I filled with aluminium.
