    Drying fresh sawn logs

    Where is the best place to look for info on drying wood or do ny of the forum users have some good info, having seen some pictures of peoples sheds I am guessing this is something that at least some of the members do. Just picked up some bits of yew from my sister inlaw it is mainly branch wood...

    Finished at last

    I seem to be spending a lot of time casting this week well I have now managed to finish the last ones that is 55 blanks will not need to any for a while now. The 55th one is still in the tube drying. Now to get back to converting more wood.

    Yew Omega

    Was lucky enough to get stack of well seasoned mixed logs from a local historic estate. They have been in a barn for over 6 years apart from some cherry which is now settled into a new home drying nicely. Its hard work cutting logs with just a hand saw, but I like trying different cuts...
