I made my first ever fountain pen today! It's a craft pro kit, the Executive in oak. I've been too scared to try for ages, thinking it would be really complicated and the drilling was a nightmare! The turning and assembly were much easier than expected and I'm rather pleased. It's a...

    Zeta dressed in Cranberry Crush

First time I have used the new Bosch Pillar drill to drill out the blanks. I have to say it was a lot easier than when I did it on the lathe, so I'm a happy camper now :-)

Thought it was about time to try a bit of plastic.

Having never turned Acrylic before I though I best give it a try and see what all the fuss is about. I like the results but must say I still like wood better, although I think that acrylic is easier to work, well this one anyway. Rhodium Mistral with black Titanium accents, Bock nib all paired...

A Gun Metal TM Alpha Rollerball in a "Lava Explosion" blank

One for a friend who wanted a 2 part rollerball. I'm not finding this "pen turning malarky" getting any easier the more I do it, but I can say my confidence is building.

    Glittering slims.

I am still experimenting with resin, colour and glitter. These are My latest efforts, now that I get the mix right, I find the Polyester easier to turn, before it was way too hard and brittle. :praying:
