    King Amber Waves

    This is my second King click pen, from Woodturningz. The blank is a Rhino called Amber Waves. Since the body is so short, I was able to use a cutoff.     Talc stone pens

    I was given some talc stone pen blanks some time ago to see what I did with them well I tried a bit of segmenting first but the talc stone was to soft and it just broke away from the plastic I think this must be some of the stuff coming out of Kenya as it is so very different to that from Oz one...

    First attempt with Corian and Fancy slimline kits

    First total failure

    Well i have just had my first total failure, i was making a pencil kit with the big pencil lead. I prepared the tubes sanding with a coarse grit to give plenty of adhesion. I use thick CA and leave it for 24hrs to go off and cure. I am not sure what the blank was made of but it smelt like...
