    Yew

    A little Yew pot 3 3/4" x 2" with Brass inlay which is nice and shiny in real life. Finished in Hard Wax Oil.

    Spiral form on stand

    Not a new piece but a repair and reposition of the turned spiral form on the plinth. The spiral is yew and a black ebonising spray inside finished with Acrylis sander sealer and Satin Lacquer and a final polish with wax. The plinth was cut and burnt before adding liming wax and again finished...

    I was bag drying this Yew but kept tripping over it so turned it green yesterday. 8 1/2" x 4" finished in Chestnut food safe oil.

    Cruet Stand

    I made this stand for the salt and pepper when I had a bit more time on my hands. When I finished it I dropped it and you can see the crack on the piece of cherry.
