    A terrible day

I feel absolutely knackered today. Got woken at 2:30am with terrible cramp in both feet followed by a tightness of the chest, wife phoned 111 and next thing ambulance sitting outside front door. They seemed to be here ages. A 1/2hour later in hospital for the next 6 hours in and out of little...

    Home made hybrid and Alpha

Here is the result of my first home made hybrid. The photos don't really do it justice, as you cant quite see the swirls of gold pearlex in the blue. But I like it, reminds me of an underwater scene. OK, onwards and upwards!

    Second Child.

When our second child was on the way, my wife and I attended a pre-birth class aimed at couples who had already had at least one child. The instructor raised the issue of breaking the news to the older child. It went like this: "Some parents," she said, "tell the older child, 'We love you...

Who reads the notices in the left hand column on the home page?

If you go to the home page, you'll notice there's a column on the left hand side of the page. If you can't see it, click on the arrows on the far left, a little way down the page and it will "un-hide" itself. I've put notices there on a few occasion in the past and I'm just interested to know...

    How was your Christmas?

So... how was your Christmas? We had a packed house with all the family together for the first time in ages. Great to have the youngest here particularly at Christmas. The last of them went home yesterday, and a good job our recycling bins were emptied yesterday too.

    Christmas Warning !

A warning to all, be careful about drink driving as we are getting close to Christmas and Police are out there checking on people. Last night I was out for a few drinks. One thing lead to another and I had a few too many beers and then went onto the vodka. Not a good idea. Knowing I was over the...

    Lucky break

Shortly before lunch I was minding my own and finishing a pen when there was an almighty implosion and the plastic tub base of my home made in line seperator burst in. I had used this for years. Called it a lucky break the fine dust and shavings were intact. Quite unexpected my wife rushed in to...

Chrome Sedona Rollerball with home grown resin

This is a Chrome Sedona Rollerball with home grown resin, but it is not my home grown resin, but one of Derek's/Dalboy. I back painted the blank with blue spray paint and it has had a dramatic effect compared to the offcuts which I left without back painting. Peter

Does this happen at your house?
