I made this out of a lovely piece of English yew after having a conversation with a friend who begged me to make a pen using a light shade of wood. This one seemed to tick the box and as soon as he had seen the photo he rang up and bought it! I’m afraid yet again its a mirror finish from me and...

    Hooded Nibs

Good morning from Winnipeg, Canada, This is a question for turners who love / make 'fountain' pens - are there kits that have hooded nibs? I love the look and clearly it's not just a function of price (Lamy 2000 = $300 US or Jinhao Shark = $4.00 US) so maybe it's all about machining? Perhaps...

    Cat Corian

This is the first use of corian used for this cat pen for the granddaughters birthday. Does look ok but corian is not my thing and it's to heavy. Love a piece of wood with some segmenting. Each to their own.
