    New Pen Kit

Well this is a new pen kit for me and I quite like it. I have dressed it in Rosewood but sadly the shine and glare in the photo hides the subtle natural beauty of the grain. I do like the chrome and dark Rosewood together.

    Bog oak

This is the second I've turned from a batch of bog oak but forgot to photograph the first before giving it away.:goesred: It turns well if a bit prone to splintering but makes your hands black. On a Sedona kit finished with one coat of sealer and a couple of microcrystalline wax to keep...

Natural edged bowl made this a little chunky. Turned from Ash and while turning it found two nails in it which I managed to get out without wrecking my tools. Finished with acrylic sander sealer and satin lacquer. Measures 5 1/2" X 3".

Found this wood in the garden ages ago.

Couldn't tell you what it is but it made quite a nice pen. I love the natural look with all the holes and divots still there.

First for me. A slimline click pencil turned from spalted beech, with a single melamine coat to keep it very natural looking. Regards Craig

    Butter wouldn't melt!

This is the look that strikes fear into grown men especially when it's your Granddaughter and you dread to think what's cooking up in the fertile mind of a 3 year old. It's also a look which melts your heart and doesn't she know how to capitalise on that.: Her negotiation skills are...
