Hi all, Well I'm glad to see the back of yesterday and yes we all have those days... I was trying to turn some Horse chestnut for a quick order.... The first had hidden fissures, the second I over sanded and it flared either end, right 3rd time lucky..... See pic below!! Let's have another go...

First one I've tried so an experiment and promised it to the lady who supplied me with a sack of spent shotgun shells. Again pic taken on phone so not good. Finish is just sanding sealer and wax to keep it natural

OK, I hope some one here can help! I have just tried to drill the cap blank for an OMEGA pen. I started with a 7mm, and then went up the drills until I had done the 25/64". At that point everything is fine. The bottom tube fits a treat, nice and snug and straight. So I move on with a 10mm...
