    A slim slim

A straight slim just so you know I can still make one.:funny: It is dressed in tree wood & is finished in melamine & microcrystalline wax. I must say I much prefer my Marilyn Monroe pens to this Olive Oyle pen.

    Karelian Birch

This is Karelian birch, dyed of course. Couldn't decide on the section so made both ... Which do you prefer, Wood or Sempletica resin

    My new gifted pen

I sent a friend in Brisbane a package of Brown Mallee Burl. This pen was made by Stephen Just, it is bespoke to the nib,a superior no 6 that I prefer. It is neat to make friends with such skills. Kind regards Peter.

I want to have a go at turning a stabilised burr blank and would appreciate any advice on finishing. I would prefer not to use CA. Thanks

Strange Request - I need some help...

Hello, all. Though I am not really too particular about whoever it is that might be able to help me, I think this is really a request to those of you living in Scotland. Colour or not

Hi made this t light holder and after doing the pyro work, my plan was to use my newly acquired airbrush to colour the leaves. My wife said she would prefer it if I didn't colour it. But I went ahead and did it anyway. Who was right? :thinks:

A pair of Gunmetal Zeta's in Yew

Now I'm squaring off my blanks properly, turning these has become much easier. I did the slighter fatter one to see how 'meaty' I could make it and still have it useable. I think I prefer the slimmer one, but I'm not sure.. :thinks: Adie

Trying to improve the look of my slims

I have been thinking of making better looking 7mm pens for some time. But how to make them nicer? Or at least more controlled? I thought that getting rid of most of the parts - or to make them instead of using the metal stuff - was a good way to go. Let's start from the beginning. Of course...
