Now I'm squaring off my blanks properly, turning these has become much easier.

I did the slighter fatter one to see how 'meaty' I could make it and still have it useable. I think I prefer the slimmer one, but I'm not sure.. :thinks:

Very nice pens they are both well turned and finished well done there is room for both styles on the pen market a friend of mine makes all his pens on the large size because thats what people want in his nick of the woods

I know the thicker pen is better for those users with large hands and there is a real place for them. Glad you are getting over the yips.

Looking good. I have done a few fatter ones didn't go as quick but gave still gone just what feels right to the hand for some.. I kinda prefer thicker ones in my hand
