Evening all. I organised a couple of days in 2014 and 15 that raised money for the School I worked in, and gave an enjoyable (hopefully) day out for many people I know in the wood turning world. I have since left the School but may resurrect this meet if there is enough interest? Can't give any...

This turned up in the post today, from some of the office Ladies at the school.

Can anyone please tell me what this timber is? It's from a old school science lab table, I'm thinking it's iroko but would like it confirming as I'm no expert.
