Here's a stabilised cross-cut, spalted ash Shakespeare, finished in melamine. Blank from Brad and it's got to be the easiest cross-cut I've done, issues with the others I've tried have been chipping/breaking out, I don't think they were stabilised though, like this one.

A mini pine cones blank on a Shakespeare fountain pen.I love the way it got some clear cross sections of the pine cones.
