    Small Yew vase 120mm high. It was made from branch wood so quite pale in colour for Yew. Interesting grain in places though.

    Just turned my first stainless steel Bottle Opener from Prokraft No more sticking tubes in the Blank and a way of using up all those small pieces of wood etc left over from Pen Turning. Glen:love_it:

    I have, as a newby to all this been trying to practice hollowing things (small scale) then thought what would happen if I mixed wood and an offcut of acrylic... PS I know what’s wrong with it but what the hell it was fun to learn on small bits of wood and off cuts... Kevin:banana:

    Who said I only had a small finial

    A couple of weeks ago I posted a pic of my very first box with lid and finial, (picture at the bottom) which is the Woodturning club challenge for Jan.. the nice comments suggested my finial was a bit small... So here is V2: Box with Lid and Finial... it’s going on show tomorrow night...
