tried a corian segmented..glued up well, drilled it on my pillar drillar ( drill press )..trued it up, was dead square every way, but when id finished the hole was so far out end to end that the blank is un-usable..:sob:.gonna drill them on my lathe from now on...still, onwards and upwards :thumbs:

hi all, i have just purchased the 2nd and 3rd blank from the top....can anyone please recommend a pen kit that will do them justice...i only have some cheapie slimlines but feel these could use something a bit more......whats the word...more :thumbs: lol...also i have never turned a hybrid so...

Well the arm is getting better, not 100% but I am now able to turn pens so getting there. I have spent some time researching Hybrid Blanks and started doing some myself, today was the first pen I have made in a fair while and decided to try one of my own hybrid blanks. What do you think...
