    A day at the lathe... pen vice made!

    Didn’t have the greatest success with the pin vice so decided I’d knock up an inverted collet chuck while I wait for the wood to arrive. Works an absolute treat!

    Pen vice

    I am thinking of buying a pen vice and there seems to be two I have found one at Axminster tools and one at Turners Retreat [PBCV Pen Blank Vice]. I would appreciate any help in deciding which one to go for. Thanks Jim

    Going to make my own pen vice tomorrow. Have purchase a canter lever and collected from around the workshop all the other bits I need. Will post an image once it’s done ? Fingers crossed it will work lol
