    So some of you may recall have seen that I was looking for a tube for a PSI pen 12.5mm...there's a previous thread! Well Garno was right with The Pessoa tube that worked, and thanks to everyone else who commented, so here is the finished pen... Regards Padster

    Really don't like this blank, had to say that first. It worked very well, but just too much for me. Good practise for though.

    Pirhana pine

    Or is it Parana pine???? A friend of mine has just given me two good sized off cuts and it may be just thick enough for a few pen blanks. Has anyone worked with it and does it turn / finish ok? Cheers, Steve.

    Your thoughts

    This is the latest piece I am working on not sure what to do with it in regards to decorating. Thinking of painting the inside a light colour and a dark colour on the outside what do you think. The slots are still being worked on in these photo's

    A friend popped over to the workshop today & whilst always great to see him it was also a little sad as he bought along his late Father in Laws ashes in order to make a casket. I took a few photos as we wood worked away & though I'd share. This is the making of the raised top a hand planed...
