Grows in Victoria where it is endangered,NSW, Queensland and the western half of Western Australia. Indiginous people call it the spear tree. This blank is Fiddleback and Ringed also gives flashes like shot silk in bands,past my pay grade to show with dark timber. Gets stuck into tools keeping the sharpening going. First time I had a figured piece to work and it was testing.
