I got the vacuum mainly for degassing Alumilite prior to casting I have a pressure pot.

Alumilite cures so quickly you wont have time to degas it would you? do you mean for stabilizing

I think there is one of the alumilites that has a working time of around 10 minutes, but I wouldn't use vacuum on it unless it was with worthless wood, but I have no idea what Alan is going to do with it.
