I had another fantastic time at Mike Johnsons place today. We made my first wooden pen together. I did some of the turning, but most of the credit must go to Mike especially the finishing techniques which I have taken on board. He also kindly cut and drilled some wood and acrylic blanks for me to give me a head start as I do not have the facilities to do this myself as yet. I have only visited twice yet I have gained a lot from it much more than watching videos. It's much better being hands on. I also found wood to be much easier to shape than acrylic. Thank you again Mike for some great tuition. Here is the finished pen.

Regards Peter.
