An other vote for Tuffsaws I have two bandsaws a medium one with 3/16" blade for boxes and anything that needs a curve and for straight cuts I have the Record 350 which I use 5/8th" blades I got two of them from Ian one for green wood and one for seasoned which I use to resaw the Tuffsaws are excellent compared to what came with either saw.

I remember some on here couldn't get on with Tuffsaws blades. Can anyone remember the "other" recommended bandsaw blade supplier?

Yes, I use Saws UK who supply Alligator brand. Made up to whatever length you need. Good quality and good longevity.

There was also a group buy about a year or so ago, which were Dakin Flathers brand. No complains about the tooth or cut quality, but in both the blades I bought the weld let them down before the teeth let them down.
