Tell me more Peter what do you mean if the PR is filled?

With larger castings there is a greater risk of shrinkage and possible cracking due to the heat during curing, you can use fillers such as marble or other stone powders upto about 10% afair this helps to stop shrinkage and cracking. It probably is only much use in larger block castings rather than in small mould type castings. I have 3, 5"x5"x1"approx. and 1, 6"x12"x1"approx. and the larger one turns out better blanks if they have fillers in them. I could use fillers in the smaller ones, but I have never had a problem with shrinkage/cracking with small volumes.
