Thinking of dipping my toe into casting:thinks: need to do a costing first :thinks: Please can you you tell me what I need to start with and where from :rolling: I intended to do bowls with odd bits of wood etc.
I would be grateful for your help :praying:

I get Polyester water clear resin from easy composites .co.uk : you will need mixing beakers, stirring sticks, moulds and mica powders, I got most of that lot from eBay. I hope that helps Tom.

I stared this week total cost was £43.97 which included 1 kg polyester resin and catalyst £9.00, set of 5 liquid pigments £15.00, lollipop sticks £1 ,paper cups £1, glitter and sparkly stuff £6.00. P & P for the resin and pigments was £7.99 Now having a lot of fun.:thumbs:

I lost a pen blank today it was so brittle then I made four more of them, touchy feely. I ground them from square on the big sander to round then used the skew on the flat with success straight to TripleEEE ,blemish free finish.
