I have just tried a Schmidt pump converter and it doesn't rub the internal thread, so it can be done.

I don't know if it is a fault, but if they used a converter that didn't touch the internal thread like the schmidt one, it would be fine.

That Sedona kit looks nicer than the Fun-e-Turnz Sedona kits I bought. I would buy the kit for £5.50 (But don't go spending my money yet, Dan - I don't make many kit pens!)

Oh - lovely pen, Peter! That CF is the dog's danglies ...

Cheers, I do like CF.

A good description Peter. I'm a fan of the Sedona and have bought them in the past from Penkitsuk, Funeturnz and most recently TB who are less than 1/2 the price of buying them here. I've not had any experience of the refill rubbing but they are different kits.

Spot on Paul, PenkitsUK and Fun e Turnz use a company in Xiamen, China, I think TB use Milylime in Taiwan. Somebody posted a sedonna with a metal exposed thread which looked great. This sedonna will take a bit of getting used to, it looks as if there is something missing on the end, and with the thread removed it looks kind of odd in that without the function, the form is a bit odd?
