I have 1251 Jim and find it a really versatile saw in my small garage / workshop. By coincidence I treated it to a new blade yesterday, the 60 tooth cross cut version of this Buy Axcaliber Contract 250mm TCT Saw Blades from Axminster, fast delivery for the UK and a new sacrificial top as well so its looking spanking again!

Talking of blades I also fitted the bandsaw with a new blade yesterday from Ian at Tuffsaws so everything is lovely and sharp again.

Shame my lathe is still in pieces though, I'm raising it up a few inches and re-fixing it after a layout change and there is so much going on at the moment I never seem to have the time or the extra pair of hands to get it finished.

Kind regards,
Ed

rellim has not been seen since mate, Terry is a persona. Remember sweeny todd? Be careful out there!! :whistling:

Hmmm, ending my mortal round as the filling in a Yorkshire meat pie ... Can't be THAT bad, can it? :whistling:

In a perverse way my grandpappy, who was from Thornaby (and he was a Yorkshireman, NOT a Geordie, or heaven help you!) would probably be pleased with that outcome. :ave_it:
