Last night I got round to turning my first pen in over 3 months! It's just a slimline pen turned from one of my own cast coffee bean blanks which was left over from my last coffee bean casting experiment.

We've been preparing a load of coffee beans today ready for stabilising tomorrow, there's enough for about 40 blanks for our website, but I think I'm going to stick with just the white! We've experimented with a few different colours but they are never quite a nice as the white:thinks:

Nice blanks that make great pens. I particularly like the ones with the 'milk' background, which makes the beans stand out better, IMHO. As somebody who doesn't drink coffee, it's nice to see that there is a good use to which the beans can be put. :whistling:
