Welcome to the daily grind Craig good first ones mate wow the post from Louie was comprehensive and helpful made my maths seem quite primitive but a beaut way around your dilemna.

Hi Craig and and welcome to the forum.

I think others have sorted the coffe scoop idea for you..

As for the pen, It looks a little overturned and the centre band looks like its standing a little too proud and stepped and lipped.

Otherwise it looks good, what finish did you use?

For the pen with cocobolo the step is intentional, as I was experimenting and wanted to see how it would look. Can't say I'm massively fond of it, but it turned out ok.
Both finished in a crystal coat equivalent, diamond finish I think it's called, from turners retreat.
Had a quick play with CA and as well as fouling it up, nearly knocked myself out!
