Appeals to me a bit as a fly fisherman myself. One wonders if the ideal blank would be split cane!

I have a mate whose handmade split cane rods fetch up to 20.000 I gave him one of Les Elms tied fly,s pen he has lived off that quite a bit. What I am saying its a huge market.

Peter.

Hi Alan,
Thats a very unusual pen kit, never seen one like that before. The wood looks like a mahogany type. Well done mate, nice work.

Nice one Allan, great looking pen, pretty sure if soemone this side of the "divide" stocked them, they wouldn't hang around on the shelves for long.
