Not finished yet but plenty of sanding to do now but question l have what is the best finish to put on this the baby's not due till about MAY {l think} more pictures when it is done and l have built the stand for the rocker

Personally I would use an acrylic sanding sealer just before the fine sanding. and once you have finished, see if it needs anything else, if you take down to 600 grit it should be OK without a finish.
