Well friends I'm back home safe and sound but bloody cream cracked the last few days have been very rewarding for me our pens went down a treat I also made a peanut bowl on which I put Billy Baxter's bar for one of the guys who is a blind veteran who works at the centre and has his own bar in his shed which I have been told I have to visit next time I'm there Steve the guy in the crocodile / dragon outfit gave me a very big embarrassing introduction and ask me to say a few words so I told them about pens for heroes and that some of the had insisted on making some of the pens that were gifted to them and it reduced some of them to tears the pens went down extremely well and they ask me to thank you guys for your generosity I think every person in that hall was very touched by our gesture as nothing like it had happened before I had a gorgeous escort as you will see in one of the photos they laid on a mid evil banquet at which I done the presentation at the end of it all I think every female there gave me a kiss and every guy gave me a hug and a real hand shake on the first night one of the drivers took me down the pub for a meal on the second night some of the staff made me go on a pub crawl with them and we ended up in the George pub and there must have been about 30 members of staff there I cant tell you much about that as I have been sworn to secrecy but I must say I will never see them in the same light ever again well shocking but great fun Rum n Blacks all night LOL

Wonderful memories Woody plenty to talk about at home when you returned the evidence is there, how satisfying it must have been after all the preparations and presentations.

Peter.
