That's rather lovely Mr Chairman Sir! I like the way it stands on its corners, how much sanding did it take to get it standing square? I did see Woody's bowl at his house, and I think I saw his knuckles too!

It didn't take any sanding to get it to sit square David. When I started out I had to make sure the wood was perfectly square and then ensure that the centre of the wood is spot on before mounting on the lathe. Normal sanding applies after being turned except the corners have to be sanded with the bowl stationary if you want to keep your fingers that is !!!!!

I had a bit of Walnut left after doing the letter A for my grandaughter which I showed a few weeks back.

I must have missed this my friend, good to see you are learning the alphabet .. :thinks:
