Not my cuppa the subject but extremely well made Brad. The way you brought the pen together in the middle appeals to me.

Are they triple start threads on the cap and barrel?

No I don't believe triple starts are a good thing :) They limit what you can do as a pen designer, with regards to matching patterns on the body and lid, and seems pointless for the sake of a thread engaging a third of a turn sooner
