Standard motor was 1.5 hp double ended, sealed and fan cooled running at 3000rpm Steve. They were good quality motors and I don't remember ever having a problem with those we sold.

First I thought you cant spell cat then I find you are very down to earth and in the process of restoring to life an item of worth even though horribly neglected mate will be worth while under the grime the bonus welder and I am sure the etc,s show promise lots of offers to relieve you of some I would resist these until you get it all together and fully sorted.Bob will be a great source of wisdom as usual, well found mate.

all a very sad story tbh
house owner got old and ill
they moved him out and skipped the house contents

that shed never had a single hand tool, and u could only guess what they skipped

the shed contents were just left untouched
there is a brick shed on side of house...and what looks like a load of veneers tucked away right at the back

Steve

my friend bought it after everything else had happened

Nice one Steve a good clean up and it will be ready for some serious use. Are the veneers just plain grain or have you got any burrs

Take a guess
That looks great Steve, you've certainly got some work on your hands there but it will be well worth the effort

sad to say that this will probably never get used by me
i dont have room for it
i really wanted the thicknesser but rest of kit is just not me
i think this will all go to someone who will make use of it, and pay for an old thicknesser for me

Thats why I keep my trailer registered empty at all times ready to respond to any need any time. At our main hospital recently the special parking for people like me has at one end a place for stuff on its way to disposal indeed to Wilmas disgust I frequent it every time we go there been most productive recently thousands of dollars of hospital beds electric controls etc were dumped.

no bandsaw in this kit

Steve

Funny you mention that Steve, I was always very happy with the kit I just sold and said to my Drain the thing I will miss most is the bandsaw.
It ain't, I don't miss any of it, quite happy using hand saw.
