Lancaster G for George stands complete in the Australian War Memorial here in Canberra.I used to climb all over it when I was a kid it rested at the Airport for donkeys after the war. A good mate of mine was a tail gunner in Lancasters out of the UK. On the way home from Germany was commanded to bail out over enemy territory which he did......long story. Pens with pedigree are most acceptable. Love these Woody.

Did you know that the wood used to make propeller’s was first soaked through then compressed to make it harder and give it more strength and once dried it was laminated
