Hi folks think my current mandrel is damaged as I’m getting excessive vibration at one end and getting a slightly out of round result at the same end. I’m assuming that I’ve managed to bend it at some point through applying too much pressure?
Anyway am looking at buying a new mandrel any advice on favourite makes and why? Currently looking at rotur offering of compression mandrel?

I would definitely go compression mandrel, far easier and currently use an Axi one. Some might say TBC turn between centers and do away with the mandrel ( buy a live center and dead center) both have their merits and problems.... (Taylors do 60° universal bushes before anyone asks)
