Decided to use photoshop on all photos and keep the box without any additional lighting.
It is compact and easy to use.

Mark is correct.
Never found a need for photo boxes or fancy lighting.
I just use a background appropriate for the subject color, my shop overhead daylight florescent lights and a tripod.
Set up camera for background, lighting and subject.
IMHO, it works great for me.

Johnny I have an old Fuji Finepix S6022. I set the camera on P use Autofocus all the time use the rear rh knob to get the best aperture with the higher F stop stopping at a reasonable speed setting in the viewfinder then using the small arrow button next to the firing pin take shots varing the setting through the viewfinder all my pics of pens are done that way, works for me.

I admire the use of incredible software but I use only a free program for all my pics library and number of pixels to 800 as well from taking to showing is very quick, simple and effective.

Sample enclosed. My lighting open box conduit basic frame to support the top light and background paper.I use Picassa 3.

Kind regards Peter.
