Very interesting design, I like closed end pens too....you can also do one piece blanks on a slim

Hi Mark I like the pens but forgive me what part twists ? I must be getting old
Only the nib...you glue in the upper tube, the lower tube is NOT glued in, the nib and twist mech are fitted to the lower tube and push fitted into the blank, the upper tube holds it in....
Makes for fun turning!
