was wondering if it's worth stripping to make a pen.. As far as research can tell me its a fake... Shame really, about 12 grand if it was real lol

That would be a decision for you to make. Be aware though there are not enough gears and things in one watch to cover a pen with. You'll need the tiny screwdrivers too. Generally more cost effective to buy little bags of the parts off eBay etc to use with your watch. Start your search with steampunk watch glitter and branch out from there.
