No, i wouldn't buy this to be honest, it is like comparing a Reliant Robin to a Rolls Royce ..

Hardly a Rolls Royce Jim, maybe a Cavalier or a Fiesta:funny:

Full stop

I have at this time asked asked Alex to call off any consideration of manufacturing the Step Drill in the UK by contacting the firm and advising them of the lack of interest in the project from the forum no doubt guided by the escalated cost in pounds that currency I am not familiar with. It always has appeared to me most everything in the UK is around double the amount I am used to seeing here.

My attempt was to share the real benefit I have enjoyed over twenty years with my stepdrill with others also I am sure many consider my overall approach as overkill when quite cheap alternatives abound and I wish you all well using your methods.

Considering Alex has assisted as a fellow member thanks mate for your good faith in visiting and consulting the company.

Kind regards Peter.

Thanks Peter, the idea is well and truely tested by yourself and one that I would like myself but unfortunately the cost has made it prohibitive. It was a good idea and as usual, aided by another forum member but its unfortune that has to be shelved at this time.

Apologies if my posts have been misconstrued, I wasn't saying it's a bad idea, simply that there are already off the shelf alternatives.
As with any manufacture there are tooling costs and the more are made the cheaper they become.
This is not going to be a big selling item nor treated as a consumable for repeat business so the cost will always be prohibitive.
