I've used acrylic, polyester, cellulose acetate, casein and wood but what is the recommended finish for resin/burr blanks? I've not turned these before.
For Hybrid blanks a lot of people use CA, if the wood has been stabalised then you can just polish (as both parts are resin) personally I just use my normal finish melamine.
My preference is CA. Like melamine both provide a protective coating and both are able to produce a matte, satin or gloss finish depending how you finish your coating
