Thank you everyone for your great comments. I've been hanging on to these two tambootie blanks from David lignaterra (however you spell it :funny:) waiting for the chance to make closed end. They are a joy to make :thumbs:

Are you taking account of the tape, if that's what you're referring to. :thinks:

What tape? I am referring to the straightness of the lower barrel, to me it is amazingly straight.
