WOW! Vic, that's a lovely pen! I would've saved the blank to mount onto a more deserving pen than the slimline style, but a beauty none-the-less! Well done!

Bob the blank is not quite 12mm and they are so brittle. I thought that the slimline was the only option. I do have a bit more of this wood and I will try another kit

Shame about the diameter - more credit to you in achieving what you've done then. But, yes, if you've a bigger bit then I'm sure we'll be awaiting the outcome. Good luck, mate!
