Do you turn them on a split wood mandrel? That is how I turn napkin rings. I've been wanting to try finger rings.

i use a kind of split wood mandrel yes Sharon, i have a few different sizes i have made that strangely enough fit onto a pen mandrel, these aren't turned rings though these are bentwood, much stronger than turned, and i was thinking of trying some napkin rings using the bentwood method. :thinks:

Stuart, if you can add your tutorial to a PDF and add that to a post then that would be great, if not you could do a tutorial starting a new thread and adding the pictures etc in there ... :bwink:
