This pen is Teak with black and white plastic strips.
Sandwiched three black strips along the length, then stuck the black to the white and made a knot.
I just wanted to see what it looked like. image.jpgimage.jpg

A good looking knot William, maybe to much in one blank with the stripes, as it takes away the focus on the knot, but a nice looking end result ..

Nothing wrong with you skill and abilities in segmenting John.

As for the extra slices I think it's different and individual, just what we want on here.

Might not be everybodies cup o char but I think it looks good.

Well turned and finished John
Might have looked better with one or the other not both the Celtic Knot and Serpentines :thinks:

Full marks for the combination John. I avoid Teak and knots and serpentine strips but admire them when others use them.

From over here the pen is great well worth the effort.

Peter.
