The final effect apart from the u beaut colours is that of a mushroom texture making it the first I have seen like this, like your confidence with the hand held cutter.

Thanks - I know the finish on the wood could have been tidied up by sanding, but I wanted to show the effect of the colouring technique. Thanks for your comments!

HI Wm...I keep them in the jar. I've not had problems with them drying up, but I am using them fairly regularly...
