Tiger in your tank

We know the saying put a Tiger in Your Tank but I have a put Ink in Your Tiger Pen. My first attempt with this wood and I hope it will be a roaring success . Does any body know the true history of the Tiger Wood?

Looks like Hairy Oak. Makes neat pens as you have.

Good old Dr Google TIGER WOOD TIMBER a host of pics select any one and learn the story Glen. It would be worth cutting on the cross.
