You may have seen the comments @TVS - Woody, and myself were exchanging that sometimes the wood tells you what it wants to be. Well this is a case in point I intended a very simple shaped bowl out of this piece of Sycamore but ended up with this instead...

And very nice two I remember a long time sgo teaching a guy to turn he wanted to make an egg cup it ended up as a napkin ring lol he turned the stem first and the wood protesteth when he tried to hollow it out lol
