Sat down this lunch time for a sandwich with the box on "How Do They do That"
The man that invented what we call a biro was in fact Mr Biro. The program was quite good, how they make the 1mm balls, the tips. Each ink holder is good to do 4.5 kilometres in length.
The ink has only 9% of colouring in it the other 91% are oils and thickening. There is a grease type plug at the top that stops the ink leaking out and gets sucked down as the in is used.
I found it fascinating, i know little things please little minds lol.

Mr Biro and Mr Fountain-Pen hated each other. They always intended to settle it with an arm wrestle, but it never happened.:whistling:
