Every time there is a competition I always seem to leave it until the last minute to do something. I have a competition a week Saturday at the woodturning club and I seem to have chosen a piece that needs quite a bit of work, as well as that there is the pen comp on here did not start that until today.

Is it because I spend too much time thinking about it and then say "Oh S**t" but most times I have done this I seem to get a good position in the comp at the club the last one was my Metalica vase

It was ever thus mate, look for the title of the next comp, write it and put it on a small notice board on the kitchen table to remind you. Compared with Wood Groups slash and burn comps it would be a doddle.

Peter.
